NEWS: Got to vent, went to the Windcreek Show Saturday. Good show, confused on the judging, but ok. But I will never go back to the Windcreek Casino. Not because I lost my but, did not gamble, but because the people at the front dest of the buffet were so rude. I asked at least three Windcreek employees when the buffet closed, as LD and Mad were coming up to meet me for a late lunch. These employees told me that I had until 4pm for the lunch buffet. As awards were anounced to be at 4pm, then changes to 3pm, i was sure we had time. So, LD and Mad go in and try to buy 3 tickets for the buffet at 2:50 and LD was told she could not buy me a ticket seeing I was not standing there. Awards started about 2:50 and were over by 3:05, I run my fat butt around the casino, find my way to the buffet and am told they are closed. I try to explain I came from the Car Show and was told I would be able to get in the buffet until 4. The so called manager, Stephen, would not even try to talk to us, even turned his back on us and called security on me. The employees at the desk were not helpful and when we told security that LD tried to buy a ticket before they "closed" even walked away from us to another area so they could not be questioned. Lucky for me the security guard was nice and listend to our complaint and made the buffet people let me in. Of course, by this time I was so upset I made myself sick and could not enjoy eating with my girls. However, the food I did eat, was awful. The Prime rib was so tuff, I choked on it, the General Sou Chicken was way too spicey and the egg roll tasted like paper. I will say the Cheese cake I found was not too bad.
Sorry for bitching and thanks for listing....8-))-

When Details Do Matter
from Surf City Products
Say you've detailed your ride inside and out, taken care of cleaning and protecting the interior, polishing the metal and cleaning, and shining and protecting the exterior. What's left? Well, that depends. Suppose you've got a convertible top; or light surface scratches, for example, around the door handles; or a super-stubborn stain that simply won't disappear; or faded vinyl or rubber trim that you want to look like new. Turns out we've got Enthusiast Grade® products to solve exactly these problems. Let's take a look.
Convertible tops. They can be cloth, fabric or vinyl, but one thing is for sure: they sure get dirty and take a serious beating from the sun. There are products on the market where you can buy a cleaner and then a separate protectant, but those are not very nice to your pocketbook and seriously time-consuming. That's where Top End Convertible Top Cleaner & Protectant comes in (it also conditions amazingly well).
Top End cleans dirt, stains and mildew, protects against fading due to UV rays and repels dirt and dust to keep your top looking like new and to prevent it from becoming stiff and brittle. There is no better way to make your top look great and extend its life. Bonus: Top End does the same great job on vinyl/tonneau bed covers, too!
Light surface scratches. Accidental key scratches, naughty kids (especially around Christmas and the holidays), snow scrapers, even shrubbery and branches, can all cause unsightly, but light scratches to your exterior. Wipe Out Scratch Eliminator lives up to its name because it doesn't cover them up like some other products on the shelf. Wipe Out actually eliminates the scratches for good (swirl marks and oxidation, too). So obviously it's got to be a ton of work and elbow grease? ... well, not with this Enthusiast Grade® product. With just a microfiber applicator pad and a bit of Wipe Out, you can easily and quickly erase these light surface scratches by hand. No buffer needed.
Super stubborn carpet and fabric stains. Maybe you bought a car with carpet, fabric, vinyl, rubber or even leather stains that have been there for a long time. Maybe you just missed them in your own car and now it seems that they'll be there forever. Or maybe there's just some combination of food, dirt, grease, mildew and plain out grime that looks impossible to remove. That's when it's time, literally, to Hit The Spot. This Enthusiast Grade® cleaner removes the absolute toughest spots and stains - and it's colorfast and 100% safe on all surfaces. It also inhibits mold and fading, while eliminating odors instead of covering them up. With all this power, you'd figure the downside would be some kind of industrial smell, but not with Hit The Spot - which is why even though our customers are amazed at its cleaning power, what they're really floored by is the great jasmine scent.
A BIG BEAR Thank You to all that brought out the Stuffed animals for the Kids at USA Children & Women's Hospital.
Also Thank you to ALL cruisers who come out to the Cruise In. We will be starting our 10th year next year and hope to have as much fun as the last 10.
